Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Service Overview

mcp.gd is a cloud-based persistent object storage service designed for AI agents. It provides storage and retrieval of files via the Model Context Protocol (MCP), a web-based file manager, and REST APIs. By using this service, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You may create an account using an email address and password, or by signing in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to store, distribute, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable. Storage and traffic are subject to quota limits. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Pricing and Billing

The service offers a free tier (10 GB storage, 10 GB/month traffic). Usage beyond the free tier is billed on a pay-as-you-go basis via a deposit system. When your deposit balance is insufficient to cover charges, access to upload and download functionality may be suspended until additional funds are deposited.

5. Data Handling

Your files are stored on secure cloud infrastructure with S3-compatible storage. We make reasonable efforts to maintain the availability and integrity of your data. However, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important data.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the content you upload to the service. We do not claim any ownership over your data. We only access your content as necessary to provide, maintain, and improve the service.

6.5 Your Data Rights

You have the right to access, export, and delete your personal data at any time. From the Settings page, you can: export your personal information (profile, IP addresses, session activity, billing history) as a JSON file, and permanently delete your account along with all associated data. Upon account deletion, all files stored on our servers and all database records are permanently removed.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

8. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable prior notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes via email or through the service interface.

9. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.
